I wanted to do a test to see how I was going to do the lecture videos. Here is the first chapter to the lecture series. It is the Introduction to Chemistry. In the video, I go over what chemistry is, the areas of chemistry, how science is done, etc.
Before I share a lot of chemistry, I wanted to talk about chemistry anxiety. When I tell people that I am a chemistry major, it usually follows with, "I did horrible in chemistry". "Chemistry was my worst subject." I do not blame them. It really is one of those subjects that you need a good teacher and you need to have some motivation to learn it.
In this post, I am going to be reflecting on my first chemistry class. I wanted to do this for a couple of reasons, One being that I know for many people chemistry is one of their hardest subjects. Two, to give people an idea of what to expect and give some advice for people taking their first chemistry class.
In this post, I will be sharing my advice for high schoolers going into cosmetic chemistry. This post is a targeted, but anyone wanting to get into the field will find this post useful. I have been asked many times how does someone get into cosmetic chemistry. The reality is that there is no one way or one answer. What works for me may not for you. Forewarning that this post will be all over the place, I want to give you well-rounded information on many topics.
