How i got into Cosmetic ChemistryIn this post I am going to be sharing how I got started with cosmetic chemistry. It all started about a couple years ago when I first got acne. I thought it was the end of the world at the time. So I decided to get a knock off version of proactive. Little did I know It was being too aggressive for face and it got worse. My skin became very red and irritated from the constantly drying products. I stopped it after a week. Then a whole year went by with trying something new products to “fix” my skin. Just to clarify the worst my face has ever been was mild acne. I decided to go to the dermatologist to see if they could help. She gave me a cream and an oral medicine. It took a month for my skin to almost clear but, my doctor decided to take me off. As it is not good to be on an antibiotic for long period of time. After being taken off, my acne came back. So I went to the store this time I decided to try natural products as I thought they would be better for my skin. They did help but, not the results I wanted. So I did “intensely research” On YouTube which is where I found essential oils and kept learning about skincare. Almost a year ago I found Marie Rayma from Humble Bee & Me and was flabbergasted that people learned how to make skincare. This scientific witch craft! So, for my birthday I asked my grandpa if I could get some supplies to make lotion. Within about a week I had my supplies and made the lotion. Ever since then I have been experimenting and following along with the blog. I was so in love with the blog and making cosmetics that I decided to make a fan page. I now have branched out into my own brand and have this blog. My skin is by no means perfect but, I found simple but, effective ingredients have cleared my skin.
