In this post I am going to be sharing the color combinations that I have made for my eyeshadow pallete. I have had so much fun creating my Z-Pallete, which full of color and neutral shadows. It is so satisfying to look at. This post is not going to include the recipe that I used. As they are not mine. I can't legally share them. At the end, I am going to add my tips for pressing eyeshadows. Let’s get started.
Conclusion for My Emulsifying Wax NF Experiment
In this post, I am going to be writing my conclusions from my experiment. This post is going to be very short but, it is going to be very helpful for lots of people.
Let's get started!
Comparing Different Emulsifer inputs in lotions
In this post we are going to be doing an experiment! This is my first experiment on my blog and I am super excited to share with you all. This with a long with other experiments I have planned is going to be great information for anyone. What really helps formulators grow in their craft is doing experiment with ingredients. When doing experiments, it gets you familiar with your ingredients. So, that you know all the ins and outs the do's and don'ts. I recommend doing this with ingredients that you have an abundance of. As you will use a lot of it. Or if your ingredients are going to expire soon than this is also going to be good to do. So, grab your emulsifying wax and a liquid.
Color Blending Process
In this post, we are going to be talking about the color blending process. In a previous post I talked about color theory. So this will be the follow up post for it. This will go over how the adjust colors with examples. Let get started.
Top Ten Ingredient Combinations to Die For
In this post, we are going to be talking about my ultimate favorite ingredient combinations. These ingredients are the combinations what absolutely shocked me when I put them together in my recipes. Some I have figured out on my own and others I have found through replicating recipes from other blogs. Most of these ingredients can be used individually and you will get great results. Once put together, they are amazing! This is going to be a simple list and explanation post. Nothing crazy like the other posts. These are in no particular order but they are all in the top ten.
Color Theory for Formulators
In this post, we are going to be talking about color theory for formulators. We are going to be going over what is color with some science, general color theory, and then going into the applications. This will be a detailed post, so I recommend getting you're notebook out. I also highly recommend printing out a color wheel to reference. There will also be a word document at the end to print out.
Duping MAC’s Fix Plus Setting Spray
In this post, we are going to be talking about duping the holy grail Mac Fix Plus. I decided to change the format and make a PowerPoint. Everything is in there. Including the recipe! Go check it out.
How to Improve Formulation
In this post, we will be talking about development, the refinement stage, and what to do with your notebook. Finally, I will attach a PDF of an evaluation sheet. The PDF will be a great guide to include in your notebook.
Water-Based Products: What Do I Need to Know?
This is the last post in my DIY Cosmetics for Beginners series! I can't believe that it is ending!?!? It feels like I started it yesterday. Anyway, in this post we are going to be talking about water-based cosmetics. Most of this post is going to be a review from previous posts. This was meant to happen, as I wanted to give the beginners the skills and knowledge to follow along with the recipes that I create. I am going to include how do all the math for conversions and scaling up and down. Don't worry all you will need is a piece of paper and a pen or pencil. You may need to erase, as mistake do happen. So, time for review!
Powder-Based Products: What Do I Need to Know?
Powder Based Cosmetics
This post is part seven of my nine part series. I decided I am going to post some other topics later. Making it now a nine part series. Like the title suggests we are going to be talking about powder cosmetics. Powder products are relatively simple to make. There will also be a recipe at the end. (It is one of my favorites!)
