Foot Ointment
This post I shared on Instagram, but wanted to make a formal post here. Your dry cracked feet will thank you later.
Sheer Eyeshadow
In this post, I am going to be sharing my shear shimmer eyeshadow. I really like low pigments eyeshadows. You can use this also as a highlighter as well. I have been working on eyeshadow formulations for a while now. I wanted to create something that could be fool-proof.
I was Looking in the Wrong Place An You May be Too
I really have been wanting to improve my formulation skills. One of the first things I did was research myself on basic formulation information. Topics like heating and holding, vitamin E's heat stability, what is high shear, etc. It felt like a lot of the information was, "Well, this is how I do it and it works." This response did not leave me satisfied at all. I started looking into where these claims came from, including various websites, professional websites, suppliers, formulation schools, and other bloggers.
Finding Chemistry Resources for Your Knowledge
One of the issues with posting chemistry content online is you do not know where everyone is at. I have people that follow me that have only had high school chemistry to people with PhDs in chemistry. I want to address finding resources for all knowledge levels. Part of that is knowing the general flow of how chemistry is. Chemistry builds off of its self and is interdisciplinary.
Basic Soothing Primer
In this post, I am going to be sharing a basic soothing primer with you. Use this after washing your face and before makeup application. Check out the last post for the basics of primers.
I can Tell Where People Learned Formulation
This was originally an Instagram post, but I felt like I should post it on here as well.
Makeup Primers
Primers are used before makeup application to even out the surface of the skin so that makeup can lay down evenly. They can also be used as a barrier between the skin and the makeup. There are many types of primers.
