What Even Are Cold-Process Emulsifiers?

Cold process emulsifiers are like the name suggests, emulsifiers that do not require heating. As we know, we cannot use a emulsifying wax as a solid, we need to melt it and then we can use it. Side note: some cold-process emulsifiers may be added to a heated phase depending if you have something in your oil-phase that needs to be melted. They may be also called polymeric emulsifiers. We are going to get into all of it in this post.
