Gel-Cream Blush

In this post, I will be sharing with you my gel-cream blush formulation. This formulation was adapted from Make Your Own Cosmetics Volume 1 Recipes for Makeup & Blush. I have been loving gel-cream formulations ever since I made a moisturizer with in this post. (link). Gel-creams are the best for these types of formulations. You can add an oil phase, while also having the benefit of the gelling agent to suspend your pigments. Gel-creams cannot have massive oil-phases, so mica would be preferred choice of pigment. If you were to use iron oxides or lake dyes, then you would need to make a dispersion. I have multiple posts on how to make them on your own.
