Generic Cleanser (Free Formulation)
Sometimes you just need a simple cleaner. For general cleaning, I will use a 5% Active Surfactant Matter (ASM) Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) cleaner.
Quick Formulation:
Calculations:
100-(16.67+0.50)=82.83
30*0.1667=5.001
82.83*4=331.32
16.67*4=66.6800
0.5*4=2
Method:
Sanitize all your equipment, containers, and workspace. Gather all your ingredients and make sure that your notebook is set up. In a glass beaker, add all your phase A ingredients. Stir until the ingredients are uniform. You can choose to thicken this with salt. You use this as a liquid as well. If you do want to thicken it with salt, start with 0.30% additions. In addition, you can alter the pH of this formulation. It will depend on the final use. Pour into final packaging. Be sure to label and date your latest formulation.
You could also use SLeS as well.
You can use this for general cleaning of counters, beakers, pH meters, etc. Or even when you just need a quick cleanser for the skin.
