Sometimes you just need a simple cleaner. For general cleaning, I will use a 5% Active Surfactant Matter (ASM) Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) cleaner.
Quick Formulation:

Calculations:

  • 100-(16.67+0.50)=82.83

  • 30*0.1667=5.001

  • 82.83*4=331.32

  • 16.67*4=66.6800

  • 0.5*4=2

Method:
Sanitize all your equipment, containers, and workspace. Gather all your ingredients and make sure that your notebook is set up. In a glass beaker, add all your phase A ingredients. Stir until the ingredients are uniform. You can choose to thicken this with salt. You use this as a liquid as well. If you do want to thicken it with salt, start with 0.30% additions.  In addition, you can alter the pH of this formulation. It will depend on the final use. Pour into final packaging. Be sure to label and date your latest formulation.

  • You could also use SLeS as well.

  • You can use this for general cleaning of counters, beakers, pH meters, etc. Or even when you just need a quick cleanser for the skin.
