Wonderful Ingredients That I Do Not Like That Much
In this post, I am going to be sharing ingredients that I do not like, but are just wonderful ingredients. This is going to be a quick post so, let's get started!
Simple No-Rinse Brush Cleanser
In this post, I am going to sharing my simple no-rinse brush cleaner formulation. I am in absolute love with it and I know that you will love it too! It is a simple four ingredient formulation. With most of the supplies you should already have.
Loose Pigment
In this post, I am going to be sharing my formulation for my loose pigment. I have been working on this formulation for about two weeks now. And I have finally perfected it. I am so excited to share it with you!
BB-Cream (No SPF)
In this post I am going to be resharing my foundation that I made using simple ingredients. I really wanted a functional foundation that did not require lots of very expensive and specific ingredients. I have had this foundation for a while now. I have grown to love it and have some tips and tricks to use it. I know in the post I was lightly roasting it. Cringe.
Let's get started!
Exposing Myself!!!
March fourth I hit 200 followers on Instagram. In that post, I said that because I hit 200. I was going to be exposing everything I am working on. The amazing part about doing it now is some of the formulations I created are done. So, I will be doing a poll on Instagram to see which gets voted first. titles with an * are done. (My Instagram)
So, let's get started!
Skincare Routine 2019!
In this post I am going to be talking about my skincare routine for the new year. I like routines that are very adjustable. So, I can change it when I want to. Currently it is very cold in California. So, right now I am trying exfoliate and heavily moisturize. Other days I may need to wash my face and go. It all depends. So, I am going to be also giving more case by case routines. I want to keep the intro short. So, let's get started!
Dehydrated Skin Serum
In this post I am going to share my Dehydrated Skin Serum. I have been working on this serum for two months now. Making sure it really hydrated and soothed the skin. Once I got the recipe, I wanted to make sure that the formulation was stable. So after a two months of use I did not notice any changes to the formula. This is very important to the development. You may love the product the first three applications but after that “honeymoon” phase. You really start to notice things like wear time, applications, color payoff, blendability, texture, and more.
Review: Make It Up The Essential Guide to DIY Makeup & Skincare By Marie Rayma
In this post I am going to be writing a detailed review on "Make it Up The Essential Guide to DIY makeup & Skincare By Marie Rayma". This is a book I have had for a while now. To be exact I have had it since December 29th of 2017. (according to Amazon) So, for sure a year now. Wow, time has passed so quickly. Just a disclosure, this book was purchased on my own. I am not getting paid for this review. Don’t think most people would think that but, you never know. So I don't want you to think that this review is not going to be honest. It is going to be very detailed review on the book. I will include what I liked, who this book is for, who should get it, what can be improved upon, and additional recipes that I feel work well with the book. Let's get started.
10 Staple Ingredients to Have On Hand At All Time + What You Can Make With Them
In this post I am going to be sharing, the top ten ingredients everyone should have. These are basic ingredient. No Opti blur here. They are common ingredient that will always use and you will find that you will always have to repurchase. You will at least use or two of these ingredients in almost every recipe. From body lotions, to salves, to oil cleansers. Obviously you are not going to be using a preservative for a salve but, in other combinations of the ingredients you will. For example, using water, glycerin, emulsifying wax, jojoba oil and a preservative and you have a face or a body lotion. Lotions need preservative. If you are confused I talked about it in another post. (Water Based Products What do I need to know? + How to Convert Formulations into grams and How to Scale Them.) So these ten ingredient are very versatile and truly a must have. For other formulators it may differ. It is like asking an artist for their favorite paint colors, it depends on the work and what you have been exposed to. Enough rambling. Let's begin!
