Planning the Formulation: Coconut & Lime Balm
In this post, we are going to be planning and getting ideas down for the formulation in the next post. This is the first post of the series! To refresh you on the last post (it was just me introducing the series) there will be 5 formulations in this series. There will be a total of 10 posts. The post before the final formulations are going to be all about planning. Just like I am about to do.

What is Happening? Suspended Oils Separating

Comparing Cosmetic Gels
In this post, I am going to be sharing with you one of my finals for school. In one of my class we were given options for our final. As my teacher was explaining all the options. One in particular caught my eye. I saw that we could do an experiments. I jumped all over the opportunity to do some experiments with cosmetics ingredients. I decided that the easiest one would be creating gels. The overall project took me one week. I am super satisfied with the results and excited to share it with you.
Update: Where I have Been and What is Next!
In this post I am going to be updating you on what is going in my life. In addition to what it is going to look like for the blog. Don't worry I am fine!
Let's get started!
Lemon and Ylang Ylang Nail Oil
In this blog post, I am going to be sharing my Nail Oil formulation. This formulation came by an accident. I was originally trying to create a nail butter to dupe the one from Burt's Bees. That one is super popular and super famous. As you will see in the formulation. I did not add enough beeswax to thicken it to butter. This Nail Oil has the perfect balance of light but still really make your nails moisturized and conditioned. If you really want to make this formulation luxurious then you can add the version of vitamin E that is for antioxidants. Thankfully this formulation is not too complicated. Let's get started!
Music Festival Glow Mist
California is heating up and I am ready for summer. When I think of summer, I think of golden hour, the beach, and sun kissed skin. To set the mood even more Coachella is in three days. If your do not know what that is it is a Music Festival for the Valley. It is pretty iconic. You especially see indie brands producing products for Festival Session. Body Gems, Neon Pigments, so extra glitter, and the list goes on. From all those products and my yearn for summer. I created a Shimmery Body Mist. The best part about this formulation is it is four simple ingredients.

Lemon and Ylang Ylang Intense Body Lotion
In this post I am going to be sharing my recent formulation that I have fallen in love with. This lotion is the perfect transition lotion from winter to spring lotion. Don't let the intense part fool you. It is a thick lotion but, it absorbs into the skin in five to seven minutes. I have included lots of really good ingredients that you are going to love.
