On Instagram, I made a post inspired by @dermangelo creating a camp and making it into a thread of bad advice on cosmetic formulations.

So, I thought it would be a good idea to create a post that summarizes all the given information.
The main one was not adding a preservative. Preservatives are super crucial to making sure that your products are safe. Cosmetics are safe as long as they are in the correct percentages and that the stability has been tested to ensure safety. I do have a blog post that goes over stability in cosmetics. It can be frustrating to source ingredients that you do not have or try to replenish your stash. I know that when I see a new ingredients on other blogs, I instantly want to get it.
