Using Sodium Lactate instead of Sodium Citrate

If you read my post on Salicylic acid, you would have read that sodium citrate can be used with salicylic acid to make it more water-soluble. I am curious if sodium lactate at 1% active concertation would work as well. So we are going to try that in this post.
Sodium lactate comes in a 60% stock solution. So we will need to calculate what 1% would be.

Gel-Cream Foundation

Don't make these if you don't have the equipment

In this post, we are going to talk about the equipment you need to make specific products. It is one thing to have the ingredients, but another to have the right equipment. Method is such an important aspect of cosmetic formulation. Money other formulators forget that. I would put this post under safety; a must-read. The reason is that if you do not have the proper equipment, you could end up making something that either does not sensitize the skin or does not meet the claims you wanted.
