      Resources for Hair Stylists
I got a question over on Instagram asking." Is there anything you wish hair stylists knew about hair care products? " I thought that this was a great question. I wanted to answer it on more detail so I thought a full blog post would be appropriate. the audience for this post will be towards stylists but the information can be used for any consumer wanting to know more about their hair care products.

      Insight into Solubilizing Fragrance Oils
This was a request from one of you! So thank you so much. I have a couple of posts in solubilizer that I will link at the end of the post.
The question we will be tackling in this post:
Why are some fragrances really hard to solubilize?

Easier AHA Mask with Fruit Acids
I thought that I could make an easier face mask with AHA fruit acids. The fruit acids are a lot easier to formulate with then glycolic acid. Still as a disclaimer, formulating with acids is not for beginners. This requires that you have good knowledge on acids and bases, a pH meter, and know how to handle them safely. With any acid, it increases your sun sensitivity. So be sure to at least wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher for two weeks after use. You should be wearing sunscreen year round, but I needed to make that disclaimer.

      Babassu Lip Balm (Free Formulation)
Frankly, I was in need of a lip balm and just threw this formulation together from other formulas that I have made. The base oil I chose was Safflower Oil. I have a post on the difference between sunflower and safflower oil, and you can read that here (Link)

Three Easy Formulations to Try in the New Year
Formulating your own cosmetics is so rewarding. So for this free post, I want to share three easy formulations that you can make for the new year. I will focus on easy ingredients that you can find readily on Amazon. These will be great first-time projects. This post will assume that you know how to scale formulations. If you do not then please read this post. (Link)
The equipment that you will need is a scale, glass beaker, something to stir with like a lab spoon, and something to whisk. Make sure whatever that you use, it is only for formulating and not for food.
For the ingredients, I want a liquid oil, refined shea butter, beeswax, and vitamin E. Let's talk about these.
Hemp After Bath Oil
In this post, I am going to be showing you the formula in this picture. I am calling it my hemp after bath oil.

Reflection on My First Year of College
In this post, I am going to be reflecting on my first year of college.
It is crazy to think that I have been in college for a whole year now. Technically, this is my second year of college, as I have already done two classes while in high school. However, it is my first year that I have taken a full load of classes. I always mention that because I don't want anyone to get confused. Lol.
I will break this post down by semester and then by the classes that I took that semester.
