Music FESTIVAL Glow Mist

California is heating up and I am ready for summer. When I think of summer, I think of golden hour, the beach, and sun kissed skin. To set the mood even more Coachella is in three days. If your do not know what that is it is a Music Festival for the Valley. It is pretty iconic. You especially see indie brands producing products for Festival Session. Body Gems, Neon Pigments, so extra glitter, and the list goes on. From all those products and my yearn for summer. I created a Shimmery Body Mist. The best part about this formulation is it is four simple ingredients.

Music FESTIVAL Glow Mist 
Formulation

Phase A:
Distilled water 95.5%-93.5%
Vegetable glycerin 3%
Preservative (Liquid Germall Plus) 0.5%
Phase B:
Mica and/or Fine Glitter of your choice 1%-3% (or experiment to your desired amount)
Mystic Moments has mica that is almost glitter and is absolutely amazing. (Not affiliated with this brand)

Formulation Notes: I recommend making at least 200 grams as you will go through this fast. The finer the mica or Glitter the better as it may clog the spray nozzle. There is not thickener in this formulation. So the pigments will not be suspended. so you will have to shake every time you use it. I have found that is stays on your skin for a while as long as you do not touch it much. Put this on before your clothes. Once the water and glycerin dry or absorbed, that is when the true color comes. It may look like you have not sprayed anything, do not keep applying more, then you probably did too much. Go out to the sunlight and check. If you spray too close to your skin you will get splatters. Just get either a large stippling brush or a kabuki brush and blend in before it dries.
Method:
In a spray bottle measure out phase A and Shake to combine. Measure out Phase B to Create A/B, Shake and then you are done!
