Running a business on your own is not easy! Why stress out about the formula and get something that you exactly wanted. Most businesses I see fail because of a basic product that anyone can make from some simple searches. It would be best if you considered hiring a consultant to create a formula for you. You are already running a brand. It would help if you did not have to worry about also making the formula.
I have years of experience and tons of resources to create the perfect formulation for you. Suppose you need skincare, haircare, makeup formulations, or any other. I can do it! Including add-ons like vegan formulations and waterproof formulas. I can work with you to create a brand story that your consumer will love and a product they cannot get enough of.

Please understand that developing products does not take a couple of days. Products must be tested bare minimum for two weeks. If you have a timeline, let me know. Any additional ingredients that I need to purchase for the formula will be reimbursed by the client and are NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. This also includes equipment. Once You have purchased the item, you agree to the terms and conditions. Final physical formulations will NOT be sent to the client for legal reasons, and different products will not be either. The formula will be sent to you by email only, with instructions to make the product, get the equipment, and label the ingredients. If you are going to make the formula yourself, I will give you the GMP's basics. Along with how to market your product with the claims that you can make. It is important to understand the difference between cosmetic claims and drug claims.
Custom formulations cannot be refunded. If the formula needs to be adjusted with a couple of ingredients, an extra $20 fee will be required. If you want a completely different formula, then you will have to pay for a separate formula. If you are having any issues making it, please make sure that your scale is working properly. Make sure you are using the right ingredients and following the steps. It could also help send me a video without editing it and showing the ingredients' name, the quantity in the scale, and the process to see where you are making an error.
Prices:
Base Price $1000, this includes skincare, body care, and makeup.
Makeup formulation Base Price +$100
Makeup Formulation Base + Color Development for 1 Shade +$1200
Color Development $300 (for each shade)
*I do not make sunscreen, hair coloring products, perming products, pharmaceuticals, or acid peels. These formulas are out of my scope of knowledge.*
*If you do not purchase the add-ons, I will make it based on what you purchased. If you want to add to the feature, you need to purchase a new formula later on.*
Development
Please understand that developing a product does not take a couple of days. Products must be tested bare minimum for two weeks. If you need to rush the formulation, a fee of $150 will need to be made. If you want to give me an estimated timeline or a date that you need it done, then that is fine and would not require an additional fee.
Stability Testing
I do not perform stability tests as I do not have the equipment to do so. It is legally required by the FDA that you stability teat your formulas to make sure that they are safe for consumers before going on to the market.
Third-Party Testing:
If you and wants to do third-party testing, the client must disclose this as this will affect how I formulate. Before you send the formulation, the formulation needs to be finalized.
If for some reason the formulation does not pass, I can adjust the formulation. This is so that you can avoid their fees. Adjusting formulations is part of the process and is included in the price.
Scale Up
The largest batch I make is 100 grams to make sure that the method is appropriate for scale-up. I do not make larger production for brands aka contract manufacturing.
If you are going to work with a contact manufacture, then exceptions can be made. But the client MUST inform me. I can make a 500g batch. As a reminder, if this means that I have to purchase equipment then the client will pay for such equipment.
Reimbursement
Any additional ingredients that I need to purchase for the formula will be reimbursed by the client AND are NOT INCLUDED IN THE INITIAL PRICE. There is a separate fee for reimbursement. If you do not want to pay it, then I would only be able to use the ingredients that I have.
Final Formulation
Physical final formulations will NOT be sent to the client for legal reasons. You will be sent a PDF by Email Only of the formula with instructions on how to make it, where to get the equipment, and also the ingredients, the supplier, and their quantities.
Refunds and Formulation Adjustments
Custom formulations cannot be refunded. If the formula needs to be adjusted with a couple of ingredients, then an extra $20 fee will be required. If you want a completely different formula then you will have to pay for a separate formula.
If you are having any issues making it, please make sure that your scale is working correctly, make sure you are using the right ingredients, and follow the steps that I have outlined. It could also help to send me a video without editing it and showing the name of the ingredients, the quantity in the scale, and the process to see where you are making an error.

Color Development:
If you need color development done then each color needs to be purchased. First, the base needs to be finalized and then color development happens. There are two ways to purchase this, one you can purchase the base and the color development for that product. This includes the development of only one shade. The other way that you can purchase is with the color development modification and then you purchase however many that you want. Simple edit the number on the product.
This does not include skincare formulations. For example, a face wash with color. That color is a part of the development.

Project Termination:
If, for some reason, during the process, you can not pay for something. First, let me know so we can space the project out if that would help. If you still can not make the payments. You can request what I have done for the formula and all the notes to do future tests. I will send it by PDF in an email. With the email that you purchased the custom formulation with.
Client Privacy:
None of the formulas that I make for custom formula will be shared publicly or privately. If you want me to sign an NDA, you can email me the paperwork. If I make suggestion for a product, it is still your product.
Legal Rights:
The formula that I create for you is all yours. I will give you the legal rights to it. This is why I send it by email. Even if i help you with the concept of the formula that will be perfect for the market, once the final email sent it is yours.

Reimbursement Fees:
Any additional ingredients, equipment, packaging, and the shipping that I need to purchase for the custom formula will be reimbursed by the client and are not included in the initial price.
Ingredients Purchased:
Extra ingredients, equipment, and packaging will not be shipped back. Sending unused material is unsanitary and highly cost-ineffective.
Final Formulation:
There will be no final formula sent to the client for legal reasons. Email Only with a PDF of the formula will send clients. See the section above of what is included.
